Last week, Baseball Prospectus predicted the Chicago White Sox to win just 73 games and finish dead last in the AL Central. Although the formula and prognostications of sabermetrician geeks sounds bleak, remember almost no one predicted the Sox to win the AL Central last season.
Back in the World Series year of 2005, most people predicted the pale hose to finish third! Lots of people forcasted the Sox to win the division in ’06 and ’07, yet they controlled the division for just 36 combined days during those two seasons. In summation, it’s wide open. One guy with White Sox knowledge second to none is Soxman, who offered his spring prospectus. Click here to read the rest of this post on nbcchicago.com.
I love your projected line-up but something tells me we are going to see Thome, Konerko, AJ and a lot of triple plays this season in the batting order.
I’d love to see soxman offer a preview of the Cubs. You already have Obama. We need some attention on the north side.
I love getting the inside scoop from the true champion of the south side…HOLLA!
Sweet Lou…how did you confuse Chief Wahoo with Ronnie Woo-Woo the other day? were you drunk or something?
Would be interesting if Ozzie hit AJ 2nd again this yr
I LOVE seeing Soxman back in the media. I must see that face one day…those eyes are simply amazing…
No way for AJ in the 2 spot! Soxman is right. The number two guy should be a contact hitter with a little speed who can bunt.
Soxman when do you post your appearence schedule? I MUST get an autograph this year.
Dude did you ever think of adding a Video blog report? Soxman is one of the most creative sports reporters out there. I love your stuff!
Right on Soxman! Glad to have you back on Facebook yesterday
Sox are gonig all the way this year.
Soxman I love you. You make me tingle inside. Will you marry me?
Great Article.
Soxman what do you think of Dayan? He looks pretty heavy.
I hope you get a lot more work this spring and summer. You are the best!!
Soxman you rule! Any update on where Crede will sign?
Keep the info coming Soxman. I’m playing in my 1st fantasy baseball league this year & I can use all the help I can get…
Soxman and I both love how Scott Boras has wielded less power and influence this offseason…too bad for Crede though
