Looptopia: The River’s On Fire!

I’m at Wacker and Wabash and there are fire dancers on both sides of Wabash Avenue. There’s dancing to the same music, but it’s a completely different feel on each side.

The west side is sensual, and the east side is acrobatic.

There’s a few hundred people out here and the energy and the excitement is palpable. I’m heading down Wabash and see what we can run into, because when we were on our way here, we heard a noise that we thought at first was coming from the El, but it turned out to be DJs at Reckless Records. Gotta check that out.
