Tom Kolovos is an image consultant, fashion stylist, writer and television commentator. He has served as fashion editor of Today’s Chicago Woman and as the fashion and style contributor for the NBC5 Weekend Morning News. He currently blogs about style and fashion for nbcchicago.com His fashion advice has been featured prominently in online media, ABC 7, The Daily Herald, The Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Daily News, The Independent, InStyle, and Women’s Wear Daily. Interviews with USA Today, NBC, FOX, CBS and his blog on NBC5.com have established him as one of the leading authorities on style and presidential politics in campaign 2008. With this blog he hopes to continue the mission he started with his review of the Christian Dior exhibit at the Chicago History Museum : to make explicit the connections between style, the whims of fashion and popular culture to the larger social, economic and political landscape.
