People sometimes forget that Chicago is the birthplace of house music. In fact, the Windy City often gets more props for its house roots from places as far away as Europe than it does right here.
But Saturday will provide another reminder that House is still king in the Chi. The Chosen Few Picnic and Old Skool Reunion is expected to draw more than 10,000 people to 63rd and Lake Shore Drive.
The party is in it’s 19th year, and started when the legendary Chosen Few DJ Crew organized a party with around 100 friends and has grown significantly into its current incarnation.
