You lost your job, you had to pay the tax man, and now it’s not even safe to find find solace by surfing Craigslist. It can be hard to find an excuse to raise a glass these days, but Pops for Champagne (601 N. State St.) wants you to know that there is always a reason to celebrate.

“Toast on Tuesday” is a new weekly promotion where $1 from each glass of bubbly purchased is donated to the Chicago Jobs Council, which helps advocate jobs for those living in poverty.
