Every woman deserves a little pampering every once in a while. Especially if you’ve had a long day at work or lost 1500 calories chasing around the children all day. One of the best ways to indulge in a little personal time is by applying a facial mask. I can’t think of a better way to relax and beautify than with a soothing skin treat. As a woman who likes to put her best face forward, I roamed the drugstore shelves for a mask that would pull double duty (hydrate and penetrate) and I think I might of found it.
What it is: Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Clay Mask Avocado & Oatmeal
What it does: According the company’s website, the rich clay mask works to draw out “excess oils and dirt, purging clogged pores, leaving your skin clean and soft.”
What’s in it: The oatmeal works to ease irritation and smooth; the avocado works to hydrate and condition and the Vitamin E provides an added boost of moisture, as well as the power of an antioxidant.
Where can I buy it? Walmart and CVS Pharmacy
How much does it cost? $3.99
How it works: Ideal for oily, combination or acne-prone skin, the mask is applied twice a week to a cleansed face. After approximately ten minutes (you can leave it on for more or less time depending on your skin type), the mask hardens and is rinsed off with water.
What I say: After about ten minutes of vegging out on the couch, I rinsed off this organic-smelling facial mask and was pleased with the results. My skin felt clean, smooth and revitalized, with no signs of tightness or dry patches. What more could you ask from a clay mask?

Rikki,
That’s so funny, I was just thinking the other day that I need a new facemask, instead of just a series of face cleansers!! And, the problem is, they can get so expensive!
I’m definitely going to try Freeman Feeling Beatiful…and did I mention that oatmeal and avocado are two major food groups in my diet? And now I get to put it on my face? Awesome.
P.S. I already put avocado oil in my hair…
I….uh….I mean a friend of mine used that mask before and loved it. It’s alright though, I’m ….I mean he….is secure enough to admit that masks are important for men too.
Oh I haven’t tried that! lol I have put olive oil in my hair (not the best idea), so I tried it on my body and it’s awesome! I highly recommend that as well.
