Winter can be a trying time for us ladies.
So why go another day with dry, scaly skin when you’ve the best exfoliater in your kitchen cabinet?
It’s silly to waste another dime on a high-priced scrub or try to save some green on an exfoliating body wash. The best way to slough off dead skin is simple. Sugar. Yes, the culprit of a deadly sweet tooth and the sinister in chocolate cake is actually good for your skin.
After rinsing with a cleanser of your choice (my personal fave is Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser), splash a little H2O on your face and grab some sugar from one of those fancy tubs courtesy of Crate and Barrel. Rub a little sugar between your fingers and scrub away. Rinse. Voila! Smooth, glowing skin in a matter of minutes.
I will caution that I have not tried this hidden gem on the rest of my body, but I would imagine the results would be the same.
Sounds like a typical sales pitch from a pushy sales lady? Try it and see for yourself. I can say from experience that I will not go marching into Ulta for another scrub because I’ve already found the best one in my house.
Finding a great moisturizer or a funky shade of eyeshadow?
Well nobody is perfect!
