Hi everyone! I’m baaaaccckkkk…..There is lots of fun stuff coming up so let’s get right to it!
On Friday, November 14th, my friends Natasha Isaacs and Eva Jakubowski will co-chair the 5th Paderewski Ball. This event is the largest fundraiser for the Paderewski Symphony Orchestra. For 11 years, their mission has been to provide Chicago’s Polish- Americans with a cultural experience that has became a part of their daily life.
They provide a variety of performances, world-class artists and internationally recognized music. The Ball will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons beginning at 8 PM and will feature the Polish Chamber singers. Tickets are $250 and can be purchased by calling (773) 967- 7777.
Always a Chicago favorite, is the PAWS Fur Ball on Friday, November 14th at the Drake Hotel, 140 E. Walton. This fun event allows you to party with your pets all night long! It is Chicago’s only pet-friendly black tie gala and is always a delight to attend! This year’s co-chairs are Nancy and Wyllys Baird, Stephanie and James Letchinger, and Amy and Julian Mack. The event begins at 6 PM so get your dog’s tux ready to go and choose your party dress. It is a fun event for a very worthy cause! PAWS is the largest no-kill animal shelter in the region. For more information on PAWS, please go to www.pawschicago.com.

If you missed the Joffrey Ballet’s Clara’s Tea Party, be sure to plan ahead for next year. It was an afternoon of fun and wonder and the children had a ball. Pierre Lockett led them all in dance while prima ballerina, Suzanne Lopez read the delightful story of the Nutcracker to a spellbound audience. There was cupcake icing, nutcracker painting and goody bags that held a treasure trove of surprises for every boy and girl. The Nutcracker begins at the Auditorium Theatre on December 18th -28th. There is still time to take your kids to the performance even if you missed the tea so please call (312) 386-8944 and start this wonderful family tradition now with the Joffrey Ballet.
Thanks for visiting again! Look forward to “seeing” you again the next time!
