If you’re looking for a great place to have an elegant meal in downtown Chicago, your next fine dining experience should definitely be at The Foundation Dining Room at The House of Blues Chicago.
The Foundation Dining Room is an upscale hidden gem located in The Foundation Room, a member’s only VIP Lounge, at The House of Blues in River North. Fortunately, you don’t have to be a member enjoy a meal at this venue. Just be sure to call the concierge ahead of time to make a reservation. Oh, and don’t forget to take note of the business casual dress code.
The menu selected by the chef is seasonal and varies throughout the year. Make sure that you inquire about the soup of the day. The creamed cauliflower is a personal favorite, but, whatever is served will not disappoint. The pork rib chop is cooked to perfection and the filet mignon is arguably one of the best in the city.
And don’t you dare skip out on dessert! The brown butter cake is like nothing you have ever experienced before.

Brown butter cake you say? Sounds right up my alley!
So in all my years of being lucky enough to hang out in the foundation room, I’ve never had a full sit down dining experience there. Not even sure I knew that that was an option as I’d just be at the bar doing what us functioning alkies do. lol.
This is your first blog and you are already putting me up on stuff I didnt know about. And I call myself a concierge! Ha! If this is what your blog will be like I need to keep it handy!
