Brett Favre has become quite the Bradgelina of ESPN lately.
After officially retiring in April, Favre has decided…once again..that he would like to come back as quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, the Packers won’t take him back and rumors of Favre playing for another team if he is not released from Green Bay along with a possible appearance at the Packers training camp, have been circulating faster than cigarette toxins through Amy Whinehouse’s body.
Honestly, Favre needs to stop torturing ESPN, the Packers organization, the players and the fans (especially Bears fans) and stick to his decision. He made the decision to retire, he held a press conference announcing his retirement and now he wants to come back? That’s not cool.
It is obvious that the Packers organization is ready to move on without Favre and I don’t blame them. Favre reached his 17th season with the Packers before retiring, has set numerous records for the league, is one of the most respected players in the NFL…the list goes on and on. He had his time. Now let’s see what rookie quarterback Aaron Rodgers can do.
The only thing Favre has left to do is to enjoy being Brett Favre. If he still wants to play football, put together a flag football team and lead them to a Super Bowl championship. But leave the NFL alone. Flag football needs love too.

I agree he definitely needs to stay retired: https://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/stay-retired-brett-favre
Thanks for the comment! Once your goal is reached, maybe Favre will be the one to beat Tiger!
I cant stand the retire-dont retire-maybe retire-reitre again-comeback-retire again crap that he’s doing. Just like I hated it when Michael Jordan and Roger Clemens did it. Make up your mind. be a man about your decisions. give us some finality!
