When I first heard about this event my jaw hit the floor. It’s such a wacky idea that it’s brilliant.
Broker Boxing is a sports entertainment event running in Chicago for the past 6 years. 
Real Estate brokers and Architects from Chicago’s largest competing firms duke it out. I’m thinking that with the real estate market in it’s current state there could be a large amount of bloodshed in the ring. This event and concept originated with local Philanthropist Eric Nixon, President and CEO of the Maron network of companies which have been headquartered here in Chicago for the last 82 years.

The goal is to raise over a million dollars for the Make a Wish Foundation in an effort to fund one last wish for at least 20 terminally ill children from the local area. Besides all the action in the boxing ring, The BoDeans will also be performing. I am so there!!!
