It came in handy when I wanted to catch a bit of ‘Architecture Improv’ at Chicago Architecture Foundation.
Min-aha Beeck, Frankie Benavides, Jonathan Keaton and Robyn Scott were hilarious as the emcee and contestants at Miss Architecture USA 2008. Miss Monadnock Building won, besting Miss Sears Tower and Mister Robie House. There was a bit of flying buttress humor and “You can truss me,” got a big laugh.
Ok, you may have needed to be a bit of an architecture geek to have enjoyed it. However, everyone will find the exhibits at CAF to be a visually fascinating history of Chicago. See them soon at 224 S Michigan.
