This week's band: Munroe

The Local Tourist, NBC5 Street Team

I’ve had my “ear” on this band for awhile. Every now and then they’d leave a comment on my MySpace asking when I was going to feature them, and now Munroe is finally being showcased! Their personal approach to marketing has also garnered the attention of 95 WIIL Rock out of Milwaukee, and Q101 here in Chicago, among others, but it’s the intensity and quality of their music that got them named “Miller Lite’s Band To Bust Out” for January on the local station. As part of that promotion, they’ll be in Q101′s studios on January 31 for a live interview and will be performing in February (TBA).
